This film is deemed appropriate for age 6+ in Germany, I think I saw it when I was 8 and still believe it scarred me for life.
After watching it, I asked my mother, if we were all going to die now. [cry]

Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to miss this experience, it's quite a good film.
Don't let you're children watch it alone though, it's seriously scary.

Hahaha nice..like when this guy bought a new truck and took all his friends fishing on to the frozen lake. Threw a stick of dynamite to make a hole and watched in horror as his dog went to fetch it. As it returned with 'the stick' they all shot at if with duck pellets to keep it at bay..........the dog ran under the truck to take cover,.,,,,booooooom....truck in bottom of lake.

The really funny part is....he had signed the dotted line only days before. The line that means he still had to pay lots of cash every month for X amount of years. [haha]
Or maybe it's sooooo silly it's an urban ledgend.
