How about a thread for just random questions, that dont seem to warrant a new thread, where people can just go off topic or ask what they like?

How come every single time I'm in a space station at least 1 human blows up. Sometimes its like 5 or 8. Or about 1 a minute. Its always crazy.

And how did somebody take me down to 98% hull while I was docked? Is no where safe?

And how do I cause a interdiction to somebody else for a change?

It happened again while I was typing that, I'm being attacked while docked. My health is steadily decreasing. I dont know how or why.

And it also seems I have a pov from the back of the ship behind the seats. Weird.

Soo my sidewinder is inside a cobra Mk3, is that what is going on here. I thought it was my ship just with me hiding behind the chair cos my ship was being attacked by a ghost.

Because your overheating.. it looks like your in silent running which means your heat cant vent

Like ASP Explorer said...There is more than one ship on the same pad as you can see the other ship clipping into his cockpit. The end result is a slow DOT until destruction. I've lost a sidewinder to this bug on day 1 heh.

I've bugged this a few times in prior version, but have not been able to reproduce it in the current PB. FD seems to think that it's resolved (and they are about to close my tickets...)

:sad: If support would read some, as here, they woudl see that it is not resolved.

In any case, I fully believe that this is a network issue where there is object position data corruption that develops in the P2P traffic.

I agree and it probably only happens under bad network conditions or is a general sync issue. FD needs to login from Canada and do some dock idling time if they don't believe us I was always wondering why my pad went up and down for no reason. That is not normal is it?

The up and down pad thing happens to me often when docked. It was pretty laggy today on some occasions.

I normally sit in dock for 15 mins or so while I check out the forums or whatever so I generally hear lots of explosions going on and my shield offline warning.

Problems with pad allocation seem to go hand in hand, its as if too many ships are trying to land in the same spot at round about the same time.

The up and down pad thing has been explained. They demoted Zelda (the crazy docking lady from Zelada) and she has been busted down to Docking Lift Operator.

What I want to know is how to find that constellation I can see near Chango Dock on the Galaxy Map. The one that looks like a square frying pan.

from what I gather only certain black markets take certain stuff, I think the regular market has to sell the same thing you want to sell.

Can you step over and take the ship
That is an easy way to upgrade
