The Official Explorers Photography Thread.

Finally unlocked my Sol permit, so naturally I had to go take a look at some stuff.

And something I wasn't expecting; the Face of Mars!

Also decided, since I hadn't ever been to Mitterand Hollow before, that I should really go check it out. Didn't expect these either;

No srv equped so kinda just had to float and boop them with my nose.

Greetings,
part-time Commander Mizumono here, reaching out from the depths of space.
A few of my captured moments:

Edit: Is there any way to filter by visited stars AND star class? I would like to revisit the trinary Neutron System, but i just do not remember where it was T.T

Do you submit your data to EDSM via EDD, EDMC, etc? Looking there would be a much better bet than trying to find the system via the GalMap filters.

No sadly i do not, but after this little incident i already thought about using one of those programms.

Offtopic: I never had any trouble with overheat from the star, today this changed.
Binary Star with surprise.jpg

You may think that systems like this are pretty common. However there is a small secret to this system , called "wredguia or-n d6-21" . If you enter the system from the right angle, namely from a nearby star called "wredguia or-n d6-12" you will fly through one of the stars, trapped between both of them. Imagine my reaction when i just jumped in and already were at 110% heat. A quick tap on my Heatsink helped preventing the worst outcome, howver I am now afraid of binary systems.

The iridescent paint jobs are gorgeous in lagrange clouds

I didn't realize how easy it was to find crazy surface features until I started hunting codex entries recently. I used to completely ignore Rocky Ice Worlds but now they are probably my favorite planets. This canyon is over 10km deep at some points

Yeah, that'd be the way to go, but I believe you can upload all your journals to EDSM manually, so you could do that to try to find that system. If you're a "part-time" player that may be the simplest way for you to do so.

I did exactly that after your suggestion, and I have compared the time stamp on the screenshot to my actions according to EDDiscovery, i think i found the system but i am currently on my way to confirm this assumption. Thank you for the tip, the programm turned out to be very helpful even besides this case.
Edit: Location confirmed ,"HD 49481"
