When did you see the last ganker here?As opposed to gank gank gank then boast about it on the forums?
O7
Obviously, that change would be for the greater good.So no Open PvE mode, oppose all changes. Gotcha.

Let me put it this way:.... and who is the appointed arbiter who gets to decide what the "right attitude" is?
Yet those who tolerate / support gankers want everyone else to change how they play....Hotel California, blockers are going to block, gankers are going to gank, and all will suffer.
That's certainly one opinion.Let me put it this way:
If your block list is longer than your friends list, your attitude is probably wrong.
Just prudent precautions.Let me put it this way:
If your block list is longer than your friends list, your attitude is probably wrong.
Which.....is well (IMO) self defeating. You survived and you had a spicy day which is all you can ask for in ED.See that latter part. Have gank escacable ship, escape gank and still block gankers![]()
Spice, dear boy. Spice, and cheeky chat. Why give them another chance to do so?
Do all players play for a "spicy day"?Which.....is well (IMO) self defeating. You survived and you had a spicy day which is all you can ask for in ED.
Some may find their day otherwise deficient of "spice", not all.Spice, dear boy. Spice, and cheeky chat.
To me, like I said before is sad, since its more and more out of game rather than being settled in it.Given the chosen behaviours of some of those who frequent Open (at least some of the time), a bit of pruning may well be in order for those who have no interest in initiating or being targeted in PvP encounters.
That's what solo/pg are for. I do that all the time when I want to relax.Do all players play for a "spicy day"?
... or do some players play to relax and unwind....
Depends on, for me mostly experience goes, submit, boost towards attacker, choose high jump destination, engage hyperdrive.Which.....is well (IMO) self defeating. You survived and you had a spicy day which is all you can ask for in ED.
Not sure when the block feature was actually implemented - but it was definitely part of the game before launch.
Which ignores the last bit of the sentence completely, i.e. there are players with no interest in initiating or being targeted in PvP encounters. To me, like I said before is sad, since its more and more out of game rather than being settled in it.
Open does not belong to the spice seekers any more than it does to those not seeking spice. That's what solo/pg are for. I do that all the time when I want to relax.
I just sit in SD Solo instance for 20mins listening to chat, block all the muppets then swap to OpenThere are sources of useful intel regarding those CMDRs who might be worth pre-emptively blocking, if one was so inclined.
What do you get from o7'ing other CMDRs?End result for me is wasted time plus maybe some repair expenses. What do I really get from such encounter?
At least I do not get time loss for whatever I'm doing. What do you get from o7'ing other CMDRs?
If you want to unwind, go somewhere quiet and not pick crazy places then. I don't pick warzones or crime ridden hell-holes for a weekend break.Do all players play for a "spicy day"?

Chat is the sprinkles on the sundae when you escape an attack like a boss. Some may find their day otherwise deficient of "spice", not all.
.... and some of the chat goes well beyond "cheeky".
