The Orangutan

Can you make the orangutan have longer hair and allow it to swing on ropes, but the hair is more important in the appearance of the orangutans because they don't look hairy, they look rather fuzzy right now, so if they could have a more realistic look that would be good

Definitely agree on climbing. I think the orangs need a brachiation animation (pulling themselves along ropes/branches/climbing structures with arms over their heads, or just hanging). They should climb more than they do.

They are naturally and arboreal species, rarely moving on the ground

Yeah, I wish they behaved that way in game. One thing I do kind of like is that orangs in zoos tend to spend a larger portion of their time on the ground or on platforms than their wild counterparts, so our Planet Zoo apes do act more like real zoo orangutans.

That is true, in fact most primates in zoos tend to eventually gravitate towards being less arboreal. This is largely because most of their food ends up on the ground, but also because of the lessened threat of predation. However, the other issue with the game orangutan is that it mirrors the gorilla far too closely. The orangutan really needed more work put into its rig and animation before release, IMO. I'm glad we have it, though.

I am hoping one of the free updates will double as a sort of TLC type update, where they go back and fix issues with already release animals. Such as adding diving to crocs and bears, brachiation for apes (especially Orangutans) and updating some baby models that sorely need it (looking at you, Cheetah and Nile monitor!)
