Oh god, I tried to watch a couple of episodes of this, but just couldn't do it. I get what he's trying to do, but the acting... [shudder].

Example of dialogue:

Helmsman: "Oh god, this is so boring... Why are we out in space looking at this star."
Other guy: "Yeah, this sucks."
Commander ex-Wife: "Hey guys! This is exciting stuff!"
Fake Data: "Don't be a "
Everyone: "HAHAHA..."

I mean, holy crap... I like the idea of a sitcom version of TNG, but this is just so bad.

How much have you watched? They've cut the silly crap down quite significantly in later episodes.

Went full woke this season, and much less humor. Hopefully it will go back to it's routs in Season 4.
