I for one love this community, and heads together we could solve everything ;)


When I have a question or an idea what better place to convey it if not in here ?
In the subforum that the most knowledge is to be had in my opinion.
For me asking about hardware and software is to get to know the people in here plus enjoy great reading.

For instance, today when I closed my dishwasher it made a sound that was so close to the sound that went off
when the millenium falcon got 2 stardestroyers too close to eachother and a collision alert went off.
Haha I thought, who one else would appreciate and have a laugh if I posted the sound from that compared to the
actual movie sound ?
For me it boils down to ED anyway, I dont mean I will be posting recipes but a strong community makes the game
better I think.

What do you guys n gals / mods think ?

Life is full of moments like that for me.
I have given up trying to share them with my many non-geek friends, but here, I know I am in pretty much good company.
Oh, also, Star Trek beats Star wars any day of the week. And Dr. Who, which generally rocks, mostly sucked during the Tennent Era but Matt Smith pulled it back from the pit of mediocrity. Mostly. There is hope.

Thing is, most of the issues causing such conflict in theses forums *were* solved, by lots of really quality debate in the DDF, just read the archives. These problems were anticipated by experienced gamers, and solutions were hammered out with the devs.
Problem is most of the solutions have not been implemented yet. Shame because that was an example of community working to cut through the problems of debate such as definitions and misunderstood goals and really come up with some good stuff.
But, here we are....

Oh yes. Now ok - Picard vs Chewbacca, No doubt Picard would totally have him. Remember the fight with the Nausicaans?

Yep sure do but I am afraid Picard would have to be Locutus to beat Chewie ;)
