Now, i do not know game development but if it is POSSIBLE to completely skip a lot of content or completely ignore enemies and just run past everything then something is badly designed.
You don't watch many speedruns, do you.

I mean, it's great that these devs sat down and watched this because I'm sure it's going to give them a new perspective on game design, but if game is able to be speedran, it doesn't mean it's badly designed.
And open world (-ish, in this case) games especially can't be designed to
specifically prevent speedrunning. That would be silly. And speedrunning a linear game isn't fun.
Speedrunning is about knowing the game, being able to exploit things devs can't have predicted, finding triggers that allow you to skip content, etc.
They ask in the video: "Does this mean this guy played our game so many times that he knows
everything?"
The answer is resounding YES.
Speedrunners are people who play the game to 100% and beyond.
