Due to someone causing Ix to go into lockdown I went in search of another station to hold my fleet as I am in the middle of outfitting and engineering some new ships...

My search turned up this beauty:


Ohm City, LHS 20
- Li Yung Rui, aka 15% discount on ships/modules
- Looks like an ever broader assortment of modules
- Fewer ship choices, but has both conda and vette
- Much nicer station scenery and lighting
- ±100ly closer to the core of the bubble
- HazRes just outside
- 4 out of 8 factions are Federal affiliated
- Broker service within 8ly

Down-side is that it is 1200ls from the main star vs 90ls for Sculley (Ix)

While the discount at Shinrarta Dezhra is only 10% I find the convenience of never having to store any non-engineered modules to be too great to pass up. It also never (by which I mean very rarely) goes into annoying states.

I made Ohm City a home base for a while, good place. Ultimately didn't provide what I needed going forward so I moved on.
1200ls isn't that far either, it's just a minute ride from the star.

While that is true, it does require an Elite rank in something.
