Quiet here, huh. I took a break from grinding pirate massacres to transfer some exploration pics from the PS5. Here's one from the time I accidentally became an explorer. I'd been playing ED for just long enough to graduate from Sidewinder to Python, via Cobra III. I saw a passenger mission in Liu Huang for 20 million credits, and only 1,400 ly out to some triple black hole in Hawkings Gap, wherever that was. Furthest I'd been out, but not too far.
Except that it was actually 14,000 ly -- I'd misread. Just 700 jumps in my upgraded but unengineered Python. Each way. It was brutal, but 20 mil is 20 mil. We got there, stopped to admire then view, and some NPC scanned me. My passenger flipped out then ejected.
I stopped to smell the roses on the way back, and took a single screenshot.
