How quaint.
I propose to do in the game the ability to transfer credits from player to player.
This will allow players to support each other and maybe even make trade deals.
You can already do this by transfering cargo. We also don't want to cater to Gold sellers.
How are you going to stop gold sellers?
There is also wing mission, where you can share the profits of missions with your friends. And do not forget, not sharing wing mission is just throwing away the credits.
Greetings,
Transferring credits doesn't work in this game because there are so many ways to abuse it. A player with multiple accounts and a lot more I won't tell you about can transfer cargo from one account to another but per a player knowing how to play the game the effort is not worth it. Feeling generous I have often dropped gold cargo to other new players for them to pick up if they know how to do it. Sometimes not. That is possible.
You can go to websites where after you give them access to your ED account and give them a lot of real money at a very great expense they will provide you with whatever you are looking for in the game. The problem is if you didn't play the game to get to that Imperial Cutter you won't have the experience to survive the first interdiction. It is a waste of real money. These offers taking your money won't tell you that.
Go with friends and groups. Check out Inara and join one of their several hundred groups. You will like one of them. There is no easy path to success in ED. Don't waste your money trying to find a faster one.
Regards
What is it, dude? Why should I stop them?
This is not what I am proposing.
Gold Sellers, these are a common name for people/companies selling ingame resources for real money. In this case credits. but what ion general they can sell anyting that is allowed to be transferred between players.
Why to stop them? because these are almost always detrimental to overall the game experience. They have been known to abuse game mechanics to farm more resources. They create more server load, so they increase the costs for FDev to maintain the service.
They take real money to give you ingame money.
This opens up the risk for players to be cheated on, and it can become very negative for FDev.
So that is just a few reasons why it is good to stop gold sellers.
I know that my suggestion about wing mission is NOT what you suggested. But that is one option available TODAY in the game to give give credits to other players. I read very recently about a player group that was offering wing reward missions credits to other players.
[edit]
If you suggestion was implemented, I know I would do. I would get 3 extra accounts to do solo wing missions that pays 40+ million each, and then share it with 3 dummy accounts, and then transfer all the profit back to my main account.
Main account completes mission source and return that pays 40 million, have to buy cargo for 20 million, so profit 20 million
2nd, 3rd and 4th account, all are passive receivers of credits, gets 40 million each, so a total of 120 million, that transfer back to my main account.
So I would make 140 million on a single 40 million wing mission. It cannot be abused, absolutely not...... This is why your suggestion is a terrible idea.
They can be stopped very easily.
Just make it possible to buy in-game money legally.
This will solve two problems at once:
1) possible deception of players by unscrupulous sellers;
2) profits from transactions will go to the bank accounts of the FD that make this game, and not to some unknown people.
So you want to make ED "pay to win"?

And what about fuel rats?
Binding the game account to the IP-address will solve this problem, maybe. I don't really know. But bot breeding is an ancient problem, there is no need to reinvent the wheel, to solve it.
It is already ptw, but the payments goes past from FD wallets.
No it would cause more of a problem. Here how. While today we take our time and earn our credits which could take week or months and buy Paints and Game updates. Your idea. Make it so the Noob can buy the Big ship (which should be played by skilled players.) Get destroyed because they DON'T know how to play and Uninstall the game. Who wins? The player that keeps playing or the Noob who buy the big boy ships and uninstalls? They can be stopped very easily.

Wow you really don't know much about gold sellers and your grasping for straws. All because you want a large ship. Why not earn it like the rest of us.This will solve two problems at once:
1) possible deception of players by unscrupulous sellers;
2) profits from transactions will go to the bank accounts of the FD that make this game, and not to some unknown people.
Not sure I don't deal with them. And what about fuel rats?
So what about the people who play this while trucking taking a break at the truck stops. Or people who fly to different countries as part of their jobs as Pilots or Bussiness men. So we punish them because you really don't know.Binding the game account to the IP-address will solve this problem, maybe. I don't really know. What madness is this?
I play on a laptop because I move around a lot. Where I live during one day I can be playing on any one of three networks. I travel a lot, I connect from hotel networks, friends houses, sometiems my phone, you would kill most of my game time with this, nobody these days binds game accounts to IP addresses. Even if I only played from one network that IP address can change randomly and without warning depending on the ISP, so lets leave the networking discussion and suggestions to people who actually know about networking.
Yikes,
So first you want to make the game pay to win. What is next, buy ships for real money? Have you done any research into this at all?
How is it pay to win?

I think you are afraid that someone will succeed in the game easily, but your efforts will look in vain against this background.Wow you really don't know much about gold sellers and your grasping for straws. All because you want a large ship. Why not earn it like the rest of us.
I am FDL [cool].So what about the people who play this while trucking taking a break at the truck stops. Or people who fly to different countries as part of their jobs as Pilots or Bussiness men. So we punish them because you really don't know.
My Guess the Op is in a Sidewinder trying to find an easy mode. Op if your listing. It better ask for advice on how to get out of a small ship and Learn to how to play than asking for PTW solution. Note people with a brain stay away from Gold sellers because they seem to be shady side.
Binding game accounts to IP, will not solve such problems.... Have you ever heard of NAT? there are now CARRIER GRADE NAT, where ISPs are using this to hide all of their customers behind a few IP addresses, you as a customer have no control over this.

So your idea is pay to be Lazy. That not a skill. You spend your time on the forums. No wonder you don't have any free time. What's wrong with pay to win? I don't understand. Pay to win is normal practice. If you have money, you pay it to save your time. And FD get money. Everybody is happy.
Not everyone in life has a lot of free time.
No I stating Facts. Here what your not looking at with your Paid to be lazy idea. With a smaller ship, you learn to dock at a large station and you keep learning to dock while earning your way to a larger ship. You are overacting. It can be presented in different ways.
For example. Who wins? Noob, who starts to play and understands that he will have a monotonous grind of money for a month to buy a good ship, and quits because of this to play? Or a noob who buys a ship and insurance for real money and enjoys the game?
And why do you think he will be destroyed? A big ship is better protected. It is safer to fly on it, compared to sidewinder
A medium size ship. Come back when you get a Type 9 Or Buluga Liner and land at a Large landing pad. See your idea would Rip off new players knowing ship size matters. We all know They will have an issue with Docking and exiting a station. They will see Paid to be lazy. Buy a large ship. Try exiting or entering a station 2 or 3 times and blow up or being attack by the authorities and lose all their credit and ship and be back in a sidewinder. How is your idea good? Because all I see is problems with your idea.I think you are afraid that someone will succeed in the game easily, but your efforts will look in vain against this background.
I am FDL [cool].
What do you call paid to be lazy again. Oh ya, Easy mode.I am not trying to find an easy mode. I am trying to find interesting mode.
I rather have Frontier Ban players who buy from Gold sellers. Or monitor how fast someone gets credit and how fast they earn ships.Nevermind. Do not take it seriously. I just wanted to say that fighting with bots/twinks in online games - is a very old problem.
Well, take the situation with 3 extra accounts. What prevents the player to do the same right now? And besides, he will have to buy the game 3 times. Plus in the FD's piggy bank.
I am glad the Mods on the Forums don't work for Frontier 95% of them are Volunteers. And sorry to all for long answers, my posts are waiting for moderator's approval sometimes.
