I haven't had any problems either. Maybe it's a location problem or ISP problem.
I'm not so sure about that...I've got 100MB down 15MB up and have seen serious slow downs on occasion. Most of the time things are fine. I contract for the ISP that I am also a customer of and check the daily service degradation and outage reports whenever I have problems at home. These issues with ED, when they occur, did not coincide with any reported or detected issues with the ISP. Additionally, when this last happened with ED I tested out some other bandwidth hungry applications and experience no slowness or loss of connection at all.
and just FYI, whenever your ISP service goes down it is 99% for one of two reasons 1) At the plant, some piece of hardware, which they run to death, died. 2) DNS servers failing. For 1, you just gotta wait for a truck roll to go out and install newer equipment. For 2, just switch your DNS service...google's is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4...I once convinced a buddy of mine to pay 50 bucks to fix his internet. I just logged into his router and updated the DNS, took like 45 seconds and he definitely wanted his money back
