I still would be very surprised to see an Open PVE mode..ever. I would probably be quite happy if they did...but hugely surprised.

Exactly this. "Sticky" bounties tied to CMDR instead of ship. It would also help immersion, because you can get away with most heinous murdering with only a tiny bounty (which you can get rid of easily by suicidewinder) as compared to being destroyed for the truly evil crime of... parking violation -_-

To me, this issue could be avoided if they implemented the piracy "tools" as discussed in the DDF(https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6279), such as:
Piracy
Increased by: acquiring and using or selling booty obtained through a declaration of piracy (an explicit player option)
Decreased by: destroying a ship without first giving the opportunity to surrender by not declaring piracy.

Where as once the pirate gives the opportunity to surrender by "declaring piracy", the murder charge is void, and it becomes just piracy (even if they blow up the "trader" ship).

So much for those blockades, or using PvP combat CGs and PP.

X-Box One has modes as well! So even XB1 players get to choose who to play with.
And just for fun, the bit in green is aimed at those saying the modes are killing the game.... new players on PC every week! :eek:

Who would have thought giving people the choice over who they interact would prove so popular ?

So, now the xboxers have joined us in their separate but joined universe.... can we now close the thread?

Or do we just respond to all calls for a single mode or bonuses with the single word: xbox ??

Also, one other thing I did note in the AMA;

So you'd better hope you get your same CMDR name, as XB1 are new accounts. (unless I missed something?)
Which would also make finding friends a nightmare if you don't all get the same names for both.

(Though the Mobius Group would help simplify this)

Sadly I feel some Open only will use this as justification for another server that is open PC only.. *Headdesk*
