Players that enjoy solo and private groups should enjoy themselves in those settings. I and virtually every other open player does not want to force solo players to participate in PvP with us. We want a separate mode where players choose to join us if they like the notion of PvP.


That's it. I don't want you to be my content! If you are happy in solo, stay there. All I want is solo/group activities not affecting PvP play.

Two (2) things...

1) Since when did you speak for "virtually every other open player"? Last I heard, they speak for themselves.
2) PvP activities have an impact on Solo/Private - so it's only fair that it works both ways. You know, like the Devs said... and keep saying... which you'd see, if you read my post on page 1.

and is always relevant is they key that noone can change the game or will need to give refunds ;p

Not bringing a Conda into Open is not lacking bravery. From your line of thinking someone wearing a seat belt is a coward, you are trying to avoiding the risk of death in a car crash.

Wow, first you are constantly mixing up PvP with PK and griefing, then you claim that beginners being molested if - and this is our CENTRAL argument here - they CHOOSE to be on a PvP server? Have you even read anything, or are you just here to fulflill your self-fulfilling prophecy about PvP players?

Quite true but its also true that you avoid the inherent danger of Open by avoiding it in solo or switching to a cheaper ship for open which also falls under the coward definition. You cherry pick everything. Not worth talking to.

Hey listen, I just want to be clear on something here. If I play the way I like, in "Solo", because I really have no interest in PVP, or you. I don't want you involved in my down time, when I'm playing just how I want to play, as I'm encouraged to do by FD themselves, and loving the game they made also.

This makes me a coward? You know likening me to a coward, is the same as calling me a coward. I feel insulted, because frankly you have no right what so ever to tell me, (or anyone else for that matter) how to play, or judge me, (or anyone else) in any way. This is what we refer to as, (A BOZO NO NO) here on these forums. Not to be confused with REDDIT.

I suggest you re-evaluate your position on this matter. If I even get the slightest jest that your calling me names, or referring to me, (or others) in a negative way I will be very disappointing indeed.

PS sorry mates, hope you don't mind if I chime in from time to time.

You'd be surprised at just how much the Devs in any game watch/listen to the forums.
People keep on that only a small percent use forums and most of them are whiners - but if the "happy" people don't post, then the only information Devs have to go on, is that from those who do post (the whiners).

The beauty of this game and it's forums - you do not have "deal" with anyone.
In game you can avoid people by using Private Groups, Solo or just blocking them in Friends and Groups Management, on the forums you can set someone to ignore.
FD thought of everything, at no point do you ever have to suffer someone, not here or in game ;)
