All I know is, if this is going to court near Santa Monica - I am so attending the day when CR testifies and bringing a sketchpad. That moment is going to need commemorating.

Derek should fly in and get a private booth in the back with velvet curtains. Bring "Legal."

Even better! I wonder if CR will be stupid enough to let this go to court. By the looks of it, they've refused to settle over the past year but this might force their hand. But settling requires a ton of money and removing all their work. OOF. The thought of discovery... days of former CIG and contractors on the stand, highlights reels of all the pompous lies of CR playing at 10AM to a jury of unimpressed people... phew. There is miles and miles of material right out of CIG's mouth that underline everything in Skadden's case in an easy to digest format. Skadden thanks the subscribers for making that possible, I'm sure.

That is NOT going to go well for the jpeg salesman. He has burnt so many people making this, it's going to be an uninterrupted cha cha line of chastisement.

Grab more popcorn and wait, I guess...

Incidentally, that's the first time I've heard Downtown LA referred to as even better than anywhere this side of Mogadishu. :D

Well, I was speaking strictly in traffic terms from where I am in the valley! Despite all the talk of revitalized DTLA, MEH.

What's next, a hearing Feb 9th?

Ah, well, if you have to drive through it...
*Flashbacks*
*Shudders. Temporality loses bowel control*

Yes, Feb 9 AFAIK. I'm guessing there's some law against livestreaming from a Federal Court...

I recall a few 'Soverign Citizen' videos that ended with lulz. :)

"I am recording this for evidence!"
"Sir, I'm taking your phone now."
"I do not consent!"
*Taser*

Still reworking that Sq42 demo I guess

Ooops, just had a lulzbucket explode.

This is exactly what is going on. Crytek is coming for the tech innovated to create Star Citizen. They are gambling they can secure one of those outrageous, tech-ignorant verdicts that will hand them Star Engine.

They seriously think Crytek are after CIGs buggy code?

Anyone else remember the jiggling hangar buggy videos from about, erm, urm, five years ago now?

About 8:10 in.

I'm far, far too lazy to look for the better ones, but they are out there.
