I just read it that Fortnite generated $223 million in revenue during March alone.....thats a staggering numbers especially for a F2P game.....I am afraid that Croberts now thinking to "invent"building system that´s never seen before...

Not very familiar but I would swear all purchases and levelling related stuff is for cosmetic items only? Or did I miss anyhting?
There is a lot of money to be made in cosmetics for games. Playstation Home (an old social network experiment on the PS3) had users that would spend €100s per month on it. I do not begrudge any company that does it, and where there is no in-game advantage.
A P2W model with $300 ships though? Sign me up!

Yeah you are correct,Fortnite has no pay-to-win mechanics whatsoever the only difference between a new player and someone who’s put in 1000 hours is learned experience and cosmetic skins......I played Fortnite here and there and I personally do not see anything exceptional in that game.I mean the game is good for what it is,one more battle-royale type of style wrapped into cartoonish graphics with good and smooth mechanics....But one thing is for sure Fortnite is a GREAT Example of Game as a Service been Done Right....

With 9 million dollars left they have one million more than the 8 million dollars which were supposed to be left in 2015. So SC apparently gained some cash reserves during the last three years.
According to my layman extrapolation, when Star Citizen enters Beta in 2022, it will have 10.3 million dollars left.

lol, I believe the best we have seen from these recurrent "warnings"(?) is a regurgitated copy paste from past blogs, so if you have not seen those (and I am afraid I can´t recommend it) then whatever he is planning to post may be mildly funny/interesting/laughable (take a pick) at best depending on how much have you read him in the past...

Yeah he has been doing this for too long by now. The first couple of times I was holding my breath waiting for the bombshell to hit but it never panned out to anything substantial. Its just more rumor or "old news" so yeah......
He is just desperate for attention. How many times did he now announce "big news"?
