Part of me wants to be cheeky and say players of an actual game are lolling it out in Lave
Gospel according to CR, he said it was going out to subscribers and concierge first.
I'm still waiting for my email, so might go do something else instead.

Nope, not really. I'll admit he's good at cinematics tho. Maybe he should go and make gameplay trailers for real games.
The Valkyrie is definitely a cheap knockoff of the challenger, but which SC ship is ripping off the krait?
A few people were saying the Mercury looked a bit kraitish.
This ship? I don't see it... I guess the engines look a bit Zorgon-Peterson, but that's about it.
Yeah I've been in both ships, and the cockpit/bridge is extremely similar from the inside as well, as is the engine layout. Maybe the valkyrie is a subtle "got you back" from Chris Roberts.
Let's face it, most sci-fi spaceships draw inspiration from previous sci-fi spaceships. It's well down my list of gripes with CIG

A Vaporware game is simply one that hasn't been released. (Because until then anything we see or learn about it is as useful as vapour). Quite a lot of Early Access games turned out to be Vapourware.
Star Citizen backers like to use the narrower definition as a game which not only doesn't exist in a playable format, but for which there is no news, no demos, etc
Personally, I find Star Citizens graphics to be variable and inconsistent. They no longer have the "wow" factor that comes with being on the cutting edge, and while they still look great under some circumstances, others show them at their worst. They are inconsistent, variable and the presence of what some call microstutter and issues with animation and physics only highlights how bad they can be. But you can still get some beautiful pictures from it.
How is it fake comparing to Elite's "spacelegs" trailer.. talking about the very first Elite trailer which showed us legs.. Where are those legs now?

Why I see all these trailers and hear Chris voice in the head "give, give, gloriously give, give me more, give me more, get less, give, give give"?
Also there is really no wow factor. Squadron42 trailer looks rushed and with little to no good post production, you can easily see engine is not really ready yet, faces look washed out and as bad as previously.

It wasn't fake. It showed things not in the game, but FD doesn't fake things like this - comparing to CIG.
No, it didn't. It looked really dated, and faces and lip sync was incredibly jarring.
