19 mins 22 secs is an interesting part.

One bit that made me laugh was how he said he was happy with the tier 0 mining considering the amount of time they had to implement it.... has he forgotten they started development 6 years ago?

Damn, I had forgotten just how many words Chris uses to say the most simple of things.

I admit, I am slightly upset that apparently this guy can get away with this scam.

Just wait and see. Bernie Cornfeld and his IOS, Billionaire Boys Club, Bernie Madoff, Greater Ministries Int.; European Kings Club, Stanford International Bank and so on and so forth.
They've got them all, it might look like Crobbers is getting away with it, but do never underestimate the Feds, it might take them years to prove their case and make some arrests, but once they've smelled the blood, so to say, they're hanging on your southern end with no mercy.
To be quite frank, after all the financial scandals, ponzi and pyramid schemes over the last 40 years, 180 millions defrauded by Crobbers is nothing more than pocket change.

In other news, Chris also rationalized like a champ why the ATV have been so short as of late, and apparently will continue to be.

From the dangerous threads. :D

Huge for the crowdfunding arena though, and deserving of very specific attention.

Yes, that's true and I'm sure that the shock waves that will come from the implosion of CR's "empire" will change or even ruin Crowdfunding for ever. And also quite surely it will do major harm to all the serious game devs out there which try to fund their games that way, all those guys will pay the price for Chris Robberst, while he enjoys his money at some Island without an extradiction agreement to the US.
Right now Crowdfunding is a Wild West Territory without real federal/governmental regulation, but after CR that will change pretty soon and pretty fast.

I'm sure Chris will be introducing the community to his replacement and the new sole developer of IFCS and the flight model next year, when AI and 10,000 player instances, tier 1 mining and docking are released.

Seriously though, I am surprised by John leaving. That's unexpected. It's an open secret that he was the last programmer who understood how IFCS works under the hood and it was said half-jokingly that he was the only person in CIG who could fly the ships.

To be quite frank, that's the best decision he could make if he doesn't want to ruin his career.

He's replaced by some guy in F42 working there for a year.
