Pictures do not do this station in Lalande 25224 justice... it has an orbit of 0.333 seconds and whips around as if using a supercharged SCO drive....

Trying to land there, is DEATH.. and once you death there, getting out... its darn near a softlock!

I wonder if it might be possible for FDev to de-activate this particular station rotating to face its parent body, as that's what seems to be causing it to be impossible to access without blowing up one's ship and being respawned within.

Hi! I'm the System Architect of Lalande 25224. On Thursday, while in construction nothing seemed amiss. Even after I'd built it, everything was fine. Then the Friday hotfix happened and...well, it's as you see it.

So I've made a video along with the newly formed Tourism Bureau if you'd like to check it out

Fdev broke something.. well that has certainly never happened before.

I hope it becomes like Miterand Hollow, and left this way.. its funny

The person who built this station absolutely did so to see if this would happen. Given how fast they spin and wobble, there was only one outcome.

I hope Frontier doesn't fix it (at least in a way that makes it a normal station). Imagine Mitterrand Hollow if it was just another boring location, on boring dusty rock with a normal boring orbit.

Stations at neutrons and dwarfs should at least whip around at high velocities and be a bit weird to get to. Adds some spice to life. Leave it in, Frontier, it's hilarious (can always warn players that the station will have a very eccentric orbit for such bodies).

There are I am sure a few quirky locations that stations and outposts can end up at. I hope as many remain as possible.

I expected weird things to happen with colonization, but this is too funny!!!
Hat's off to the construction workers, I hope they got a nice tip!

Now, can we build some detention centers around this kind of stars? Access restricted to gankers with notoriety of 10 and higher only ;)

LOL. I guess this is a nice illustration of the way the physics has been somewhat simplified by the game engine... (And maybe also an indicator about how/why some rotating-frame things seem quite broken.)

I would support that
