I am not sure.. but the few have tried it, DIED fiery deaths. Both getting out and in... the only escape is the ESCAPE POD.

This IS the station of CERTAIN death.

Here is the amazing thing. The existing station isn't even in the closest slot to the station.

So someone could try and build one closer!

I think the sync area (like ship inside the station) can expand to area near the mailslot, but outside. Then once ship fly near the mailslot, they can dock as well. That's why NPC ships have no problem on docking, they are always sync with the station.

I died on one of my landing attempts and respawned inside. On a previous attempt, I survived but was knocked back 100km from the station. Take a look at my speed right after getting smacked. My HUD helpfully informed me that 3628 m/s around the station is above the posted speed limit.

That was my first thought! Everyone in that station would be a wall painting, at best.

Weird, I thought dying will respawn you at your last docked station.

Nearest non-hostile station, if there's one in the same system and you're not locally Wanted.
Then last docked station as a fallback if that doesn't apply.

That was my first thought! Everyone in that station would be a wall painting, at best.

And Roche's law should apply. That station should have been torn apart in a fraction of a second. But, it is entertaining to watch as it is!

Pictures do not do this station in Lalande 25224 justice... it has an orbit of 0.333 seconds and whips around as if using a supercharged SCO drive....

Trying to land there, is DEATH.. and once you death there, getting out... its darn near a softlock!

Hi! I'm the System Architect of Lalande 25224. On Thursday, while in construction nothing seemed amiss. Even after I'd built it, everything was fine. Then the Friday hotfix happened and...well, it's as you see it.

So I've made a video along with the newly formed Tourism Bureau if you'd like to check it out

I'm sure you can get cmdr Mars to encourage (or trick) cmdr barefoot to attempt a way in . I expect to see them both walking around on the outside of the station in Mars' next livestream
