Thanks Frontier for adding so many things during all this time (and hopefully we still get much more!).

This is a cool thread and really does show us how much the game has changed. I wasn't here at the very beginning, but I came about a year later (actually, just mere days before the 1st anniversary).

Even since then, the game has truly changed. Deep diving, brachiation, animal choruses, sniffing behavior, bathing.

I only wish that future updates can expand on some of these animal behaviors, specifically the choruses and the bathing

Great work Aramar!!! The only thing you missed that I noticed is mention all the paths that come in each scenario pack, since they are part of each free update, all of them, and in fact in the Australia pack we receive 4 new paths

It's amazing, really. Super impressive work from Frontier. I bet it's rewarding for them too to see what a great creation they've built over time.

For future updates, I'd love some more realistic animal behaviours, namely:
  • herding / packs
  • young stick closer to parents
  • parents carry their young in different, true to life ways
  • nesting / nest building
  • social learning
  • some species are more sedentary, less active (koalas, crocodilians in particular)
  • nocturnal / diurnal sleeping patterns that can be manipulated eg animals in a nocturnal house can be active in daytime hours
  • mates and best friends interact with each other more, eg penguins stay with their partners and herd members have their favourites and prefer their company
  • gay penguins
  • egg laying, nurturing and hatching
  • lone animals get depressed and need company
  • Water animals stay in water more; arboreal animals in trees etc

And I'd love more enrichment variety

I updated the list with the paths, thanks!

This is a great list, so many game mechanics and animals added.

Hoping they can implement the 1.11 patch exhibit automated selling/population controls to habitats soon! 100 peafowls an hour is a bit too many as pretty as they are 🦚.

Thanks for making this list! The updates in Planet Zoo are just as exciting as the DLC. I'm always stunned by what they give us, with mechanics that I didn't even think of, or didn't think were possible.

I'll always love the colour variations being added, because I was campaigning so hard for it here. That update made me realise how much Frontier and Planet Zoo actually listen to us and work so hard to give us not just what we asked for, but even more than we expected.

It’s likely an unrealistic dream on my part but I would love to see the the alligators get animations for nest making and have the mothers transport the babies from the nest to the water in their mouths like they do in the wild vs the current live birth model.

Which ones?

I want gay animals, too! Yes! ...and weirdos. And that reminds me of how I miss animal personalities :(
A lot. Wrong Translations, claiming that wild Animals are Breeds and domesticated Animals are Species, Zoopedia in german calling Animals tame instead of domesticated, wrong Social Requirements.
Not sure currently about other ones but I think there is more.
Also still want a Option to use the old Beta Hitboxes that were actually the Size of the Animals because I never had any Problems with those
