The vain queen... solved?

Was the Zurara the end game of the message in the pilot graveyard "the vain queen rides a giraffe that remembers her daughters hero" ?
Just checking if there is more adventure out there?

Don't mention that name, there are quite a few traumatized Rifters that might react unexpectedly.

Short answer: No, no more adventures out there. Yes, riddle is solved: something about greek mythology, stuff and things that happened without having any effect.

I will now go and consult my therapist …

;)

I've always wondered why the Zurara is the only ine ship. Didn't the massage mentioned "...we've sent a massage to the other ships..."? And also, there are 3 locations right? Formidine Rift, Hawkin's Gap and the Conflux. Also HER massage where she said "the answer is back in the core, not out here..."
I'm still in hope to find 2 more those ships in the other regions :p

Thanks all... lol, didn't realise it's another EDism. See the whole going back to the core is what I'm wondering about, that and the other 2 regions yeah!

Vain queen

Hi there

No, i don't think it's been solved. The best answer i found was this: https://childrenofraxxla.co.uk/foru...3303-Special-Directive-3-issued-by-CoR-Consul

But I don't buy it. It sounds like they were trying to fit the riddle into what they discovered, not the other way around. I want to carry on with the riddle with the fresh look. I am going through the Rift threads and trying to find what we are missing. For now I think Cetus constellation might be a link, as Cetus was slained by Perseus. That is what I am starting with, I will be going through any info about Cetus constellation and any link to the Rift. Feel free to join:)

in Greek mythology Cassiopeia was named the vain queen because:
Cassiopeia boasted that she and her daughter Andromeda were more beautiful than all the Nereids, the nymph-daughters of the sea god Nereus. This brought the wrath of Poseidon, ruling god of the sea, upon the kingdom of Ethiopia.

Accounts differ as to whether Poseidon decided to flood the whole country or direct the sea monster Cetus to destroy it. In either case, trying to save their kingdom, Cepheus and Cassiopeia consulted a wise oracle, who told them that the only way to appease the sea gods was to sacrifice their daughter.

Accordingly, Andromeda was chained to a rock at the sea's edge and left to be killed by the sea monster. Perseus arrives to kill Cetus, saves Andromeda and marries her.

so in the message
the vain queen could be : Cassiopeia
her daughter : Andromeda
the hero: Perseus

So what about the giraffe?
well in the sky the constellation of Cassiopeia and Perseus toutch the constellation of ...... the Giraffe

so i went there, i didn't go to every stars but i found in the perseus constallation in the algol system a becon named: " Treasure Hunt Comes to an End"

dated: march 29th 3302

Galactic News: Treasure Hunt Comes to an End

The treasure hunt organised by billionaire philanthropist Alfred Jeffress has come to an end, with a pilot by the name of Commander Oriza claiming victory. Thousands of people took part in the competition, but ultimately there could only be one victor.

As with Jeffress's previous treasure hunts, competitors were required to solve a series of riddles to find the mystery object at the centre of the search – a relic from Earth's past. The clues took pilots to Persephone in the Avalon system, then to Arrhenius Terminal in Bard and finally to the Algol system.

When the winner was announced, Alfred Jeffress released the following statement:

"I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the winner. One of my representatives will be in touch soon to give you the details of your prizes. As for the other competitors, I would like to offer my commiserations. But do not despair! There will be another Jeffress treasure hunt, and next time the winner could be you."

So what is the link with Rebbecca , the club, the project dynasty and the message : "The vain queen rides a giraffe that remembers her daughter's hero." transmitted by her ship in tionisla's graveyard whitch refers apparently to the treasures hunt orgonised by Alfred Jeffres? I don't know. the beacon of Tionisla date the signal of the cobra by august 3302 so it could have participate to the treasure hunt in march 3302

perhaps it is Alfred Jeffres the one who organised the treasure hunt ?
Perhaps the hunt was just a cover for Rebecca to go on a destination or meet with an other pilot in the Perseus constellation without beeing noticed ?

Well hey, if it gets people tracking down mysteries again why not? Lots of story threads seem to be being picked up again these days so it might be just the time.

Uh oh ... let's not go here again 😂

That vain queen poem was something Drew came up with to nudge everyone along to the solution, as we had spent so many years concocting theories.

Finding the Zurara was the endgame to the mystery that started in Reclamation ... but it was also the start of another mystery.

One that had Salome racing across the galaxy back to the bubble to broadcast to civilisation. But she was killed.

The outcome and resolution of all that is in Drew's second book.

But it all links back to the shadowy cabal who are keeping things from us all ... and I wonder if 'Salvation' somehow hooks into this too. 🤷‍♂️
