Hello Cmdrs, hope everyone is having an awesome Christmas!

I have been away and today has been the first time in an age that I can log into Elite and I seem to have missed a treasure hunt!

My questions are..

Can I start the hunt now? Meaning can I go to the first location which I think was epsilon eridani, majors mine planet, and get the first cache?

And then go to the second and third etc?

Or am I screwed and I can only do them from today onwards?

Also, is there a guide anywhere or a list I can follow of the locations in the order they were placed? (If I can do them that is)

I’ve started reading through everything in the forums relating to this but it will take time and time is what I do not have haha
I have a 2 hour window before more familial meet ups are planned and all I want to do is fly my spaceship!

Any help from you amazing bunch of Cmdrs would be greatly appreciated, thank you

On one account I did it without DSS (on purpose), just using the coordinates, and it took me ages.

My app (among others) can be used to make approaching specific co-ordinates (which are not targetable for whatever reason) much, much easier - link in image in sig.

Relog and do your firegroups before you do anything else.

Added a prospector and was able to set up the fire groups!

One little oddity...

The POIs you're looking for DO NOT show up in your nav-panel while you're still in orbit.

Once you've DSS-scanned a planet, you need to physically move your ship's crosshair onto each surface POI until you find the one titled "Crashed Ship" and then you can target it and navigate toward it.

Alternatively, you can just navigate to the given coordinates and then, once you drop out of orbit, you will see "Crashed Ship" in your nav-panel.
