Well, Cavill, has left the show, the writing team has been called out by a former writer s openly hating and mocking the source material. A petition has already been started calling for the writers to be sacked and Cavill to be reinstated.
Unless the Netflix, actually changes it tune, the Witcher is dead. When if they actually respected the source to start with material, The Witcher could have been Netflix's Game of Thrones. This time with an actually ending as the author actually finished the books, unlike the previously mentioned.
I would love Cavill to remain as the Witcher, you could tell how much he loved the character. It's a great shame he decided to go.
