Could not connect to matchmaking server

I have been trying to log on for 2 days now and after I pick open play or solo I get the message stating... Could not connect to matchmaking or sometimes adjucation server, I have hard reset my internet, my xbox, r installed elite dangerous and nothing has worked is there a bug and I just can't play? Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps just bad timing?? I know the servers were down yesterday for a few hours, and the day before that they may of had some issues. Other than that the only thing I can think of would be a NAT issue. Even with UPnP, my xbox often tells me my NAT is moderate. Wish you the best of luck and hope to see you amidst the stars!

Im having the same problem. Cannot connect to the adjudication server. Everything was fine till the servers went down yesterday and ive not been able to play since :(

If you consistently cannot get on, I would suggest you log a support ticket, as the game has been working fine for myself and others tonight.

Server connection?

I have been trying to connect to the game servers for 2 1/2 hours now and all I get is the can't connect to frontier servers message. Im on Xbox One. anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried playing in Solo as well? May be worth trying if you haven't as if it's just isolated to Open mode there may be some kind of issue they're currently unaware of.

The Xbox Live server disconnected for me about five minutes ago. Before that all was good. We Xboxers have double indemnity, we get disconnected if either FD or Xbox Live goes down. Oh well!

Well it's strange, happens often also. I know it's not my connection because I connect to every other xbox live game just fine. Sometimes it just sits at the ED logo screen after pressing A.

Well 12 hrs later and I still can't connect....just sits at starting ED logo screen...."loading".
Played Destiny for 2 hrs no problem again. My internet works just fine . 75 mbps download solid. I even uninstalled and reinstalled on Xbox to no avail.
Some people are having this problem and seems many or most do not.
Guess if you have this problem your out of luck till Monday. No weekend trouble shooters at Frontier I guess.

Have you logged a support ticket or tried following their guide on resetting the cache on the xbox one?

It doesn't sound like it has much to do with the frontier servers and this forum is not the place to try and get it resolved - frontier support staff rarely look on these boards.

Running in Quick Start mode perhaps?

Try a complete SHUT DOWN / Cold Reboot of the XB1, and then turn off Quick Start permanently. Not a good idea for game stability since the XB1 never fully shuts down and recycles the OS. Run Energy Saver mode and njoy much better reliability with game performance.

The ED servers have not had any issues during the period you are reporting on. So this is a local thing, and I suspect your XB1 OS is munched and needs a cold reboot.

Cool! I was pretty sure that was the problem. This game does strange stuff like that when the XB1 OS is old and in need of a refresh.

Regarding QS... Lots of XB1 owners don't even realize that their machine's OS has been running on the same boot for weeks and months at a time which is not good for any computer. Especially a Windows computer which the XB1 actually is!

I would suggest never using that again unless you want to grab an update overnight to save waiting for it the next day, which is the ONLY time I ever use QS, and immediately go back to Energy Saver mode after that. Having issues like you had just to save 60-90 seconds of boot time is bad deal if you ask me. ;)

Private Server on XBOX One, pretty please!

I would really really really like a private server game mode on XBOX One the same as the PC version has.

I'm sick of being ganged up on by other players in far superior ships just because I want to play with my friends, this game was a joy when it first started but now its just frustrating and stressful.

I'm gonna play on PC instead, where I can have fun with friends.
