Thememaker's Toolkit: Placeholder for usable objects!

Together with the toolkit, it would be nice if we would get some placeholders for usable objects, e.g. benches, bins, ATMs etc.
As we already know is, that we're unfortunatly not able to create objects which park guests uses.
So, those small placeholders would give us the possibilty to create benches, bins etc. that park guests can/will use in game.

Here's my simple idea:

Bin:
You could create a small box which serves as a (usable) bin. After we have placed this box, we can place our own created bin over the box. Our bin is now usable.

Bench:

And the same for ATMs.
Also small light bulbs would be great to create own lamps! :D

Dear devs, I am sure that wouldn't be as difficult to create it, right? It's just 3-4 small pieces for a great thing! ;)

Sounds doable they could just work like real bins but without the animated stuff.

Very good suggestion! [yesnod][up]

That's what I mean. And I am sure that creating these placeholders isn't complicated. These usable objects might be already pre-programmed in their system. All they need to do is to create these new, inconspicuous placeholders and assign them these appropiate program commands. As if they were creating new bins and benches for an update. Only with much less effort!

P.s. English is not my native language. I hope you understand anyway what I mean. ;)

We are definitely saying the same thing here!! [up][up][yesnod]

Good suggestion!!

Ofcourse they might still add more functions to the toolkit and maybe just maybe benches and bins will be possible to add in the future.
If not, then i really like this as a backup plan!

I'm really curious to see what the toolkit has to offer.

One problem: Vandalism for both. Overfilled bin for the bin. Not visible.

Ok, that is the disadvantage of my idea, but in my opinion not really a big problem. I don't need to see how overfilled the bins are. It's more important that my Janitors knows that the bins must be emptied. ;)

Henstly, I think this is not needed. If they wanted us to create interactive objects, they would simply let us do so via TmT. It´s very likely on purpose, so they can still offer us some kind of paid content amd interactive objects are one of those we could be interested in. If it was possible to do in TmT, it could jeoperdize DLC sales. Maybe they let us do this after they end with DLC production, that would be cool [up]

I think that is a problem. Player should have visual cues that bins are full, because sometimes, you might have no enough janitors and they stay full too long. Only solution that comes to my mind is replacing the normal visual que we currently have with "stinky" green smoke coming out of the placeholder object.

One way they could solve the issue with vandalism and overflow:
For overflow bin: Add extra trash objects on the ground around the bin.

For vandalism: Same but with pieces of metal/wood. Random bits on floor and maybe up the seatlevel too.

Yep, +1. [up]

I like the idea very much, even if I didn't use TMT objects yet - but it would be great to see this coming to the game :)
