There was an eror connecting to xbox live. Please use the settings app to troubleshoot problems with your internet connection.

Its fine!!!. Is anyone else having this issue?. Also before all of this. The first message i had when kicked with trouble connecting to the transaction sever. I get kicked withing 15 seconds of loading in game every time..

Reloaded game. All better. Lol had big goals for today. A little touchy if i cant play hahaha

I'm experiencing this same error today (Wednesday, October 5, 2016), and it is the first time I've ever seen it. My Xbox settings app network tests are all green. And I can clearly see the Xbox store, my friends lists, etc etc.

I've tried restarting Elite Dangerous as well as a full restart of my Xbox- I still get the error. So the error, like the cake, is a lie: my Xbox Live connection seems fine. What the heck does this error really mean? Is it some sort of secret code that Frontier uses to frustrate pilots when they have been playing too much?

I'd love to know. Better yet, I'd love the error to go away and never return.

Agreed, I'm flying to Jacques and its a bit hard to make progress when it insists I'm not connected to LIVE. World of Tanks plays fine... odd. [sad]

Same here, logged into the forum wondering if I was the only one. Apparently not. Eastern Washington State.

I just tried loading the game and get the same error. At least I'm not the only one. It's weird that it completely loads the game and then throws the error.

same thing here now. I've been playing for three hours with no problems until now. Log back in... kicked out a few seconds later. I have read of many CMDRs having this issue today.
Going on 10 restarts now.
Let Me PLAY !!!

Maybe an Xbox issue?

So, to update I just left the party I was in and now my xbox is going crazy and saying invite sent over and over.... This is really unfortunate... I had some critical missions to do tonight for my wing... I'm not sure what to do about it...

On mercury sol system first time this has ever happened. Logs on an instantly crashes and gives the error of check Xbox live but everything is testing fine. Is Elite Dangerous having issues?

checked the reddit thread.....system update. updating atm will follow up with news


update: installed the system update and still connection errors....so its xbox live itself

Same here in Utah. Crashes in seconds, I have an easy 13mill I need to deliver tonight! Better be getting huge compensation for this.

Correcting myself. Xbox should give us one month free. Or double free games on huge titles. A CMDR can only dream.
