Loaded up after a few months of not playing. Keybindings have all disappeared. Can't be bothered doing them all again for the 4th or 5th time. Maybe see you again in another few months

Didn't read the whole thread so apology if the following points have already been made.

Once you have set your bindings save a backup of the custom bindings file somewhere on your 'puter - it will be in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings . You can then copy it back to that directory if you loose your bindings. Obviously, also make sure your game settings point to the custom bindings file.

If you have more than one custom bindings file for any reason, use EDProfiler to make sure that the correct bindings file is selected for the profile (e.g. A profile uses A bindings file, B uses B, etc.). Can then launch ED with different profiles and bindings.

I did have a back up but I've bought a new PC since. This is the only game I've played where I've had this happen and it's the game with the most keybinds

And didn't copy my back up files from the old PC...

For some reason I never lost my bindings in 5 years.

I am jealous .
I finally gave up on my personalised profile and just learned the x55 default controls

I have backups both on NAS and USB Stick - no problem apart from remembering to update them whenever a patch introduces new bindings... Of course I remember, or at least believe I remembered... Then reload them and promise that next time I'll remember...
