Chicken has a very neutral taste without any outstanding features, which we are taught to recognize since young age.
Therefore - every meat that doesn't have specific and easily recognizable taste characteristic... ...tastes like chicken to us.

I like dogs, cats, birds, and most soft animals. Goats, sheep, pigs and cows are awesome too. I even like petting humans, but the judge was very clear about how that is inappropriate. Nonsense, if you ask me, its not as if he was alive or anything. Ah well.
