I've finished campaign and the first two challenge maps and went to sandbox to take a break, but some stuff I researched and built in the other modes aren't unlocked. Some examples are the power stations, the aviary and lagoon galleries, and some dinos like Rex, which I figure is Chaos Theory locked, but Archeornithimimus, Mamenchi, and Sinoceratops are also not unlocked. Do I have to beat just Chaos theory, or Chaos and the other three challenge maps too to get it all? I looked at Xionahri's list and as an example, I maxed out the archaeornithimimus genome on Germany but it's not there. Do I have to release one of them?? If so, then what about the power stations? Cause I built both on Germany but they're not available either.
You have to have them unlocked and shown in the game data base then they'll be in Sandbox as well. For dinos either capture or release them in the other three modes, for buildings research and build them to get it unlocked. Also remember that there are different eras and when you only have the JW power stations from the challenge maps unlocked but then go into JP Sandbox those JP power plants are still gonna be locked. You gotta play the CT leves for JP unlocks since they aren't in the challenge or campaign maps.

Some research only pops the database entry from the campaign. Had to play to the third mission to research specific fences even after 100% on all difficulties for the other modes. The 3rd mission specifically is when you can start researching in the campaign.
