Thinking about coming back, how is performance?

As much as I like the game and will keep playing it, I agree it is a shame large zoos are basically impossible to have. Ideally I would love to have one large zoo with at least 60 habitat species, instead of smaller ones where I have to decide on 20 species which I can add before the zoo starts to drop down in fps.

I actually posted the main zoo I was working on here, https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/moozoo-world-large-franchise-zoo-build.534089/ as you can see, I got half way through the post before I realised I wouldnt be able to finish all the project. I was quite happy working paused whilst zoomed in and then only playing whilst zoomed out (this helped fps) but then even that didnt work.

I am going to come back and try reducing the financial difficulty so I can half the visitors and see how that helps but sadly I think I might have to shelve this for good, I cant see Frontier making any major optimisation updates now.

I have not touched the game in a while too. There is just nothing to do especially when I start a zoo make a few enclosures then the game gets too laggy to play.

Neither do I, there are many issues when you get a zoo of any significant size. I lose 300 to 600 guests every time I log in with no rhyme or reason to spikes. Since my zoo is 'done' I just stay in the Trading Center while I'm on calls and keep the breeding going.

On my system the breaking point is usually 6500 or so people... so I'm going to limit and keep building until the budget goes south. Really hate seeing my graphics card at 35% utilization while I am getting stuttering and low FPS.
