Thinking of getting into PVP finally.

Well I'm finally thinking of getting into Elite PVP. I was a pirate/pvp'er for years in EVE and miss the actions of pvp.

The other thing is I want to go shoot all the whiners who break game rules and complain when people shoot them or get them blown up :)



A little bit of salt needs to be taken with that statement :)

Anyways I'm also learning myself full FA-off with KBAM.

So how does one go about it? Just go to one of the 'lore' type systems (Sol, Lave etc) and just shoot people?

There's PvP where groups mutually agree to play - Discord for example

There's PvP where players just destroy weaker players - Anywhere

There's Piracy PvP - Community Goals mostly.

If you're into proper piracy, Lave is a good place when there's no TRADER CG. There are other places , most of them rare trader routes.

I reckon the last two are probably my old kind of pvp so those :)

Might have to get a bit better with FA-off before I can do much with it though :)

And actually seeing another CMDR is rare for me :(

What the hell. Fly dangerous.

My advice start simple with a ship that doesn't cost a lot to lose then when you find out how good a pilot you are risk that multi million rebuy.

CGs are a great place to find PvP. Also, places like 17 Draconis can be good, pop into a CZ and see if there are any CMDRs there. Declare for the other side. Have a ball.

Theres many ways to do pvp in elite.

Powerplay which is just interdicting and shooting people who are in a different faction.

Bounty hunting just go to CGs popular systems that will have pirates.

Piracy Going to any CG or a popular trade system.

Joining a pvp group.

Or shooting weak people on sight.

Well I like the lifestyle of a wandering bounty Hunter/ sometimes pirate so something along those lines and hunt wanted cmdrs for a bit.... In my adder!

I've still yet to see another CMDR in open...Even hanging out in important systems like Lave I've not seen anyone....Being is Australia is a PITA at times!

I have a solution for you. I live in Guam, and I had the same struggle. I now use a virtual private network to fool the game into thinking I'm in mainland USA. I see a LOT more players this way.
