This has to be the worst station placement ever in the history of this universe's lore.

Dea Motrona star system - Pinzon Dock

It's a whopping 1,758,669.37 Ls away from the arrival point. Takes ~20+ minutes to reach it.

10/10, this game even simulates human stupidity.

makes for a nice buffer zone against attacks, Theyd have plenty of time to see them coming thats for sure.

I think you've found the CODE hideout.

That's nothing compared to Hutton Orbital, thats 0.25Ly away.

Alpha Centauri? Just saw that as well. One station at 5M and other at 6.7M. I wonder if anyone actually visits. It must take at least an actual hour to reach a station.

Visit Hutton Orbital is on my to do list. If only so I can buy the T-Shirt.

What is it with this game that makes you want to do stupid things like that? I mean, seriously, I've spent hours looking at computer simulated stars...

Awesome stuff.

What's clearly needed here is the option to choose which star to warp to, or the ability to make a quick jump if the stars are very distant in the system, I'd say anything over 20/30,000ls away is fair enough.

People who have visited Hutton orbital knows what happens during the 1,5 hour supercruise ;) There a nice easter egg if you do it. But it´s easy to miss so you have to watch the screen all the time.

It would be interesting if stations that are out of the way had special missions / goods etc to incentivize going to them.

Hmm, I won't spoil the easter egg (because I don't know if I'm right), but does it have anything to do with things man-made?

I saw pictures of the Voyager probe on the screenies thread, and couldn't work-out if it was a fake, or actually in game. If in-game - it's a fantastic idea! I love game designers who do that sort-of thing.

That's just awesome and got to give at least a hat tip to FD.

Don't worry, some kind soul has already removed the debris as it was a blatant hazard to space traffic :p

I have seen Voyager 2 in game. It is 2mly away from the nearest star.
