What's the problem, first guy clearly had connection issues and you were able to murder the second guy easily?
What u moaning about?
Whilst the FDL CMDR is being a ™, I don't understand why the Python CMDR plays in open. If you're afraid of being blown up by a bully (which is a perfectly acceptable playstyle, as far as I'm concerned, though I don't participate myself, and feel said people are also not very nice, but I digress...), then there are PvE and solo modes.
Otherwise, wing up, or power up, and ensure you have a ship set up to endure a heavy hitting CMDR.
On a side note, a proper crime & punishment system would be nice. 100cr fines for an FDL piot... Bwahahahha. May as well use spit balls to defend against a nuclear warhead.
CMDR's that attack other CMDR's in a no fire zone, in particular, should be given a 1 month suspension of docking privileges for all factions present int he system, and also the main faction (if present - ie: Fed, imperial or Alliance.) That would be a pretty got deterrence...
Z...

TBH this is one of the main reason why a LOT of people don't play open.
The PVP hungry commanders that jump on anyone they see because it's such slim pickings, and the combat logging commanders because they don't trust the PVP players to pirate properly and don't want to risk losing millions in rebuy.
It's a vicious circle that I'm glad I don't participate in.
Möbius FTW.

That's a menu log if I've ever seen one, so in the eyes of Fdev it's legal, but still it's hilarious sad that players still do this as you can high wake in nearly half the time. Also it's an imperial cmdr what did you expect all they know is how to run and cry.

Seriously?
Sure, clean ship exploding need more consequence, but it's not like this game doesn't already has so many in-game mechanics that can be utilized to make an escape or combat against attacks. Combat logging/abusive use of menu logging are exploitative at an unfair expense of another player, period.
It's the same guy and I seriously doubt he had "connection issues", nice bait though.

I'm a "" for interdicting a combat fit Python?
Don't see how... unless PvP automatically = .
If only game was not stacking the deck against the defender.

Assaulting somebody is a hundred credit fine and murdering him a couple of thousand but a rebuy is hundred thousands or in the case of bigger better fitted ships dozens of millions. To make matters worse we now have this 'heat' meta which trumps everything else when it comes to pvp.
Have you ever wondered how it would be if it was the other way around? Do you really think there won't be PvP people here in the forums being the loudest screaming their lungs out about how unfair that assaulting somebody would cost them a hundred thousand or say millions of credits which is not avoidable in any way? ( Actually i am starting to like the idea)
The game definitely needs a much much better crime and punishment system that is for sure but as much as i hate people combat logging i hate assaults for no reason even more or be more precise, assaults for no reason which the game fails to sufficiently punish.
By this time you would've have figured from my previous posts that i am a big advocate for a balanced environment, open play, PvP and piracy in general but surely you must see the difference between what is legit PvP and what is not. There is a fine line here which only gets more blurred by the weak mechanics.
