People can and will find a way to complain. It's only a matter of time before there's complaining that walking in the ship takes too long for big ships or Fleet Carriers are unfair or something.

We're getting free ARX for Christmas and people have complained about it.

I look forward to the new features but it's just a whole lot of new platforms for some people to crow from.

"Dear Commanders, after another exciting year in Elite Dangerous we have some unfortunate news.... due to re-prioritization of the content Fleet carriers will be coming sometime next year..... And we shall be focusing on bug squashing.... the 2020 update will also be delayed slightly but we are on schedule now for our new date of Q4 2021.

In the mean time we have some fantastic limited edition skins for the Cobra MKIII because an open letter said the Cobra didnt have enough paint jobs.

See I am not bothered what we get big picture... Be it legs or some form of atmospherics, EVA and salvaging, orna combination of the above. Any of that could be content I could love.

I just hope that what ever it is it meshes well into the game and has plenty of new actual content to get our teeth into (and that the content is for everyone and not just multiplayer stuff like wings and crew).

All in all however I would say I am cautiously optimistic and very interested..... But no longer excited (which is a shame)

Your thoughts mirror my own, whatever we get should 'work' as part of the game, not feel tacked on...
Hopefully FD remember that there are many players who don't play regularly, or even at all, the multi-player aspects of the game and scale things to be inclusive :)
