I'd like visible NPC crew. I don't want them to give bonuses, power creep is bad enough in this game. I just want them to fill the empty chair(s) as a cosmetic and RP improvement. I think it's a patronizing and needlessly limiting way of persuading people to use multicrew. I think this is an easy request and therefore possible even if unlikely.
I think a new SRV is well overdue as well.
What I'd really like to see is an entire revamp of many of the systems, which I consider more like filling the placeholders:
-Manual cargo loading by hiring a team on the station or having a crew of swampers.
-Shelling out for auto-loaders, the tradeoff being cost and internal space for expediency.
-Mandatory crew requirements and mandatory crew upkeep (quarters, facilities and pay). The large ships should require substantial crews. Medium ships 2 or 3 minimum.
-click and drag 3D schematic grid instead of logarithmic bay sizes with symmetry and balance being up to the player and important for ship performance
-engineering being about tradeoffs instead of "tradeoffs" with overall power creep. Engineering should make something specialized for a specific purpose but worse overall
-Fuel being expensive and important. Noticeable fuel cost when boosting, noticeable fuel cost when the FSD struggles with a gravity well (SLOW DOWN) etc.
-General wear and tear on most parts, especially if used a lot.
-More power management (start and warm up reactor, increase/decrease output to save fuel, manage reactor pressure and risk damage at high output etc.)
-Erase telepresence from the lore and let us fly our fighters.
-New SRV types.
-Reboot the profit creep and provide more believable rewards for missions. Doesn't have to be realistic but 6 million for 120t of palladium going 19LY is ridiculous.
