This video got to me. It goes so well with the song. I know its the official video but its so cool to have terraforming as the subject of a music video. Wonder if Jamie XX plays ED?

Anyway, I played the song whilst sloooowly approaching (like in the video) a frozen water world I found (I'm bazillions of miles from Mars) and then flying around it, watching sunset and sunrise and generally chilling to the music.

Amazing.

When Horizons launches there will be some almost religious experiences to be had, with the right choice of music.

Nicely whetted, thanks ! But let's be realistic - that's a high level of detail on a planet with atmosphere, but it gives us a glimpse of the future potential. Races across a planet, like the one shown, would be great ! (+1 to you)

Thanks for the revisit. I recall seeing this a while back, but with Horizons looming, the imagery and statement by Carl Sagan is what many of us hope for. I think many working at FD are inspired also, but realizing this for the pure joy of exploration and imagery will take time.

I'll b&m like the rest of us, but as long as they are working on making some these inspirations a reality I'll be hopeful.
