Those asset names used to “send a message”

Just a faction I will dedicate many enjoyable hours to combating.
Got it. I was kind of suspecting something like this, but never encountered that name in Elite. My other guess was name of some female rugby team ;)

Anyway, as far as Carrier messages go, "I buy things" and "I sell other things" has been fairly common name for a time. I also suspect there are some strong messages hidden behind "**************", but I can only guess what those are.

Does this count?

Fleet Carrier - Youthful Indiscretion
Cutter - Biowaste Transport LTD
Pirate Phantom - Innocent Bystander
Cold Silent running DBX - [[ERROR 404]]
924m/s boost Viper - System Overload
Python - Siphon'The
AX multicannon T10 - Alien Garbage Disposal

Like that ?

I named one of my Corvettes the "Presteign Vorga", a refugee smuggling ship (it's not what my CMDR does), but it's a striking name saluting a sci-fi classic.

Bester's "The Stars My Destination" is a great read.
My Second favourite Bester book is Tiger! Tiger!, The Demolished Man being first.

..... and, on one occasion when a player had clearly been annoyed by another player, Richard is a Muppet.

:D . I would feel a bit sorry for Richard if he wasn't such a complete muppet.

Ship names can be made to "persist" - If you run up large bounties by ( for example ;)) killing an annoying factions ships, your offending ship name will be listed in the stations under local bounties. Of course, almost no one would be so petty and vindictive to actually do this ...
..... almost no one.

So I wonder, which names you have used or come across for this purpose and what is the context for your message?
(Bonus forum points will be awarded for humour, and lets keep it relatively civil please)
Running up large local bounties so you appear on the boards and renaming your ship "contact me at ..." is a recommended way to get in touch with BGS groups with no obvious public contact information. A FC name could be used for the same purpose in most systems, but is a rather more expensive way of doing it.

Speaking of striking names saluting sci-fi classics, greetings from my "Out Of Band II" Chieftain. 🤓

(Maybe not as much of a sci-fi classic, but still a very good read)
