Totally agree with this point. About to make it but read the thread to ensure it hadn't already been made and of course it has.
So here's a second thought: another part of the thread is about "fun", and whether BPC et al somehow diminish it. Not so. I use it to calculate 'any' to 'any' routes for best profit (why not?) and you've no idea how it takes me to interesting, out of the way places I might not otherwise visit - sometimes via 2 or 3 interim systems. You get interdicted, find lots of USSs, see new places, meet new people - and all while doing the day job! And for those "gut feel" traders who like to do it the hard way - well, it tunes up your gut for those times BPC isn't quite working.
Win/win by my way of thinking.
