Throttle Delay After Hyperspace Jump Exit

Since patch four I cannot increase my throttle, after a hyperspace jump, until the "FSD Cooldown" timer starts. IIRC, this was an issue in the past. I just don't remember which behavior is correct. I'm trying to confirm whether this is an issue or working as intended before I submit to the issue tracker.

I haven't noticed that and I did quite a lot of jumping last night.
I always throttle down during a jump but unless I land in a NS system, I throttle back up as soon as I exit and head for the fuel scooping zone
Are you coming out of hyperspace with your throttle zeroed or full, or mid range?
It seems to take about 5 seconds after a jump for the cooldown timer to appear, so maybe I'm just not noticing a delay in accelerating after I throttle up.
I'll watch for that when I'm jumping this evening.

Patch 4 broke this. Now if you have supercruise assist with the "hyperspace dethrottle" enabled, it'll keep you stuck in 0 throttle until the FSD cooldown starts, so you keep staring at the star for 5 seconds every jump unless you disable it in the right hand panel... and go back into watching out not to crash into stars.

Before patch 4 you could simply change throttle (which would start as zero with the SCA dethrottle) as soon as you loaded into the system.

Ahh, I don't have Supercruise Assist. Seems like a waste of a module slot. My muscle memory Always pulls the throttle to zero at the sound of entering hyperspace.
A habit I got into in the early days when you didn't know what kind of star you were about to drop into.

I have supercruise assist, but I don't think I've experienced this. I do keep the hyperspace exit de-throttle disabled though. What I have seen though is that for the first couple of seconds, the ship is hesitant to boost.

(I use the SA module purely for one reason-- Barrelling in at high speed to the stations... none of that "7 seconds to destination" mess). ;) :D

Boost? I didn't think you could boost while in supercruise. Or am I misunderstanding?

IF you dont have the hyperspace de-throttle enabled then you are not affected.

The ones complaining (me included) have it and it's really annoying.

Just to confirm, since I'm the OP, this was the case for me. ...turned off de-throttle and scooting along. Annoying, but not terribly so.
