Thrusters rebooted straight away out of SC?!?

As other have said if you were shield less and it was immediately after dropping was probably either the scramble spectrum special effect or the power play weapon pulse disrupter, both can cause random module malfunction on hull strikes.

However both cannot be fired instanteously after being interdicted, either by players or NPCs... It takes several seconds.

Agreed it takes a moment to open the hardpoints but that could feel pretty instant after the interdiction and can't think that it can be anything else if there is no module damage.

I agree. But the OP doesn't.

However I note that module and component damage may display as "integer" or whole-number, but is not. It is rounded up (based on the underlying integrity figure).

Being interdicted causes damage. There could be 1 point of Thruster damage, out of an integrity of say 264? and as a result it would appear the Thrusters are still 100% OK. But because they are technically 99.62% rounded to 100%, there is a very small chance that our favourite RNGesus could roll a Thruster reboot.

Or a bug.

Or as mentioned earlier, the poster is mis-remembering. Because that is human. We all do it.

My memory of this is clear as I came straight to the forums because of the instant nature of the thrusters going offline.
your not getting the point the point is that what you think happened and what really happened where not the same that is how the brain works and has been proven scientifically
