Thrustmaster TWCS throttle hats aren't recognized.

I am using a VKB Gladiator smk2 stick and thrustmaster TWCS throttle. All the axises and standalone buttons for the throttle are all working fine and recognized and I can map controls however the 8 way hat and two 4 way switches / buttons / hats / whatever they are on the side of the throttle are not being recognized in game.

The stick is working fine. All the axises and the hat on the sick are working and I can map to them.

All of the buttons and axises and hats for the stick and throttle are working properly in their respective configuration tools.

any ideas?

Try swapping drivers. The Control Panel was missing in the 2019 version so I downgraded to the 2017.
Didn't bother with 2018. The old one works fine for me.

Search for these:

2019_TFHT_1.exe
2018_TFHT_1.exe
2017_TFHT_1.exe

Try swapping USB ports with your keyboard or mouse.
Using an empty port doesn't always reset bus in Windows.
