Time Bonus issues

Sometimes the TB gives more than an hour to get to a location that's a few 100 LY from the point of entry, which is absurdly easy, and sometimes 3 minutes to reach and land at a planet base, which is often simply impossible. Also, if there is more than one delivery location within a star system, and I get only one TB message, I can't see which delivery the TB refers to - unless I'm missing something obvious?

May I suggest:
(a) that it's made clearer which delivery is intended in the TB (or someone please tell me what I'm missing!), and
(b) that the TB concept would be more realistic if it were offered earlier, even before reaching the delivery star system - it should still be do-able, while stretching one's ability to prioritise deliveries to succeed in at least some cases. As it stands, with 23hrs+ at the port of acceptance, I can hang about for as long as I like but then get chivvied along when I get to the delivery system, whenever that might be - that would be fine occasionally, but not exclusively so.

If you look at your transactions tab you will see which of the missions has been updated. That's the easiest way if you have multiple missions to one system.

Otherwise I agree with your points, unfortunately that's the way these 'mission critical updates' work. They are triggered by an event, such as arriving in a system or dropping from supercruise - different events for different types of updates, and then it's just RNG. They involve no skill or challenge unfortunately. In the case of expedited delivery, either you can make it or you cannot.

It would IMO be much better if some missions simply had an expedited delivery option as part of the original description, and then, as you say, there's the possibility of actually planning your route / deliveries to achieve as many (or few) as you want.
