Newcomer / Intro Tip off mission

Hi, I'm a relatively new player and got my first Tip off mission.
I managed to get to the coordinates, before the time expired i.e before 29/12/3306. The coordinates were of a station, i was able to scan all terminals and also the core data terminal before the data point reset time.
The Tip off mentioned that i would receive an encryption key, but i only got a message about a cover up by Rockforth corporation.
I don't know if that completes the tip off mission because I haven't received any conformation message or encryption key.

Would appreciate any help

Yes, by following the links posted by commander Para Handy you'll find the collection of all so far known Tip Off mission locations along with the logs obtained there. However I'm still working on documentation for this project (my internal perfectionist doesn't allow me to create something too simple)=)

In fact by scanning the "Core Data Terminal" you've already completed it - and one can say that you've used your encryption key that resulted in the fact that you've received a credit voucher that is few times bigger than if you had scanned it without one. Yep, nowadays the difference in the amount of credits you gain by scanning the mission target is the only difference you'll see when doing the same without appropriate mission (=encryption key) .

As a side note - even after 5 years not all Tip Off locations in the Bubble has been discovered. If you have any questions - don't hesitate to ask them.

Thank you Commander djadjok, for your titanic work on the "Mysterious Stranger" missions. I have to go to work now, and I haven't found the most suitable thread for this. I will appreciate that it is redirected if it is interesting. Today I received an "SOS call" message to search for Seo Jin-ae known as "subject D-2" (she may be in danger). I've gone to the system and found a "hackable navigation beacon", scanned it and received three messages showing a conversation between “Seo” and “Tanner”. I have not read the messages calmly because I have to go to work. Is it something new or has it already been found? Thank you very much and best regards. Sorry for the necro.

Honestly that's wa-a-ay better than a brand new tip off related thread for each event of them being encountered.
The TO mechanics is still in game, updated quite recently (correction of coordinates). Even that now quite a few of them are in the systems under Thargoid control
