After running EDConfig my ED doesn't start. haven't change anything in settings files. I just test app. ED say it'w wrong version after that

I guess you just have to update your client, EDConfig does not change anything except write the user's settings when closing

Hi, I have downloaded the tool Edconfig v 0.3. Do I place the tool in a directory? or just run the tool say from desktop and browse to the appconfig.xml location? I have ED installed to the default location. I need precise instructions to do this as I'm not a programmer. Hope you can help thanks in advance.

What is it you are looking for the program to do?
Why not just save the app somewhere, run it and and see what happens?
realdragnet does not appear to have been on the forum for a few months so may not reply quickly.

I've just spent ages trying to find my appConfig.xml...
