I get that every game will have trolls. It's just a thing.
My problem here is that there have been numerous reported and proven instances of this behaviour, which soils the experience for those of us trying to enjoy the game and play it without attempting to cause outright frustration to others. But there is no known policy, let alone punishment, or allowed public punishment, of those that troll others.
There is no way to know if someone is a known troll, nor is there a way to exact a stance against them that makes them want to either halt such behaviours, or abandon the game. Not even a community based initiative that is at least condoned by Frontier....
There are very specific examples of these behaviours, and as a systems engineer, I don't see how making small steps to prevent this behaviour is so prohibitive.
If you can't outright ban them for reasons of fairness, then why is there no database that provides listings of known and proven trolls? Not even a half step? Frontier won't even allow the community to take action?
It seems that Frontier just doesn't care about malicious actors ruining the experience for others.
"If you want to play the game and experience it truly, here's a series of work arounds, because we can't be bothered to sus it out ourselves..." is the basic jist I'm getting...
