Hardware & Technical Titan X (pascal) announced...

But I just know the moment I decide a 1080Ti isnt coming/going to be worth it and buy a 1080, they will release an awesome 1080Ti.

Well, I got the 1080, and compared to the 980TI it rocks. I will keep this card until they release something new, like Volta.
I just can't see the benefits unless the price will drop by 40%

Just got one, glorious.

:D

+200 / 2Ghz core at max 80c with the stock cooler
+500 on the vram clock

It's noisy, but fine with headphones.

Wish I wouldve waited for pascal before I bought my 2x 980ti sli...Idk if elite even really benefits from sli. Never getting sli again not worth it. Wake me up when amd shakes up the market. Not a fanboy just want to see competition drive down prices.

He has sold on his previous cards to help pay for the Titan!!

Despite no emails or communication from Nvidia, my mate received something in the post today.

I am hoping that he is benchmarking tonight.

A photo of the inside of the box would have been nice too

I don't see any reasons for Nvidia to release a 1080ti, as much as I don't see the reasons behind AMDs RX470.
And if the rumours are true, then Nvidia will release Volta next year. They already have the high end market under control anyway...

It comes soon ---- http://videocardz.com/nvidia/geforce-1000/geforce-gtx-1080-ti

Ok, I have some results, but even though my mate sprung for a new Pascal Titan X, he wont spend the £20 on 3DMark as he doesnt consider it good value!! So the results are only from Firestrike and Time Spy. Please note the 980Ti results are from my rig and as it has a different CPU/is a different rig the cpu results should be ignored and only the Graphics scores used.

The card details are:

I am hoping that 3DMark goes on sale again soon on steam so the other tests can be run. This is only half the picture without Firestrike Extreme and Ultra.

This new Time Spy benchmark looks quite interesting. It features assets that allegedly benefits both vendors JUST As Much, and not just one of them. Makes benchmarks much more objective. The new Titan X has built in enhancements for async compute, according to the reviewers. Maybe this is a smart move by Nvidia to prove their worth when Vega launches. :)
