Well, the good news is, even if we don't get official versions of these skins, it seems modders have figured out how to get custom skins working already.

The ones pictured in this thread are... but actual custom skin modding is now a thing, so if someone wanted to turn these into actual skins they can...

I have to interject and ask you to discontinue the subject of modding. I deeply apologize and I don't want to tell anybody want to do but I'm asking you. Please dont mention modding. The modders are out in force yes, but some people are unable to do that whether that be on the platform they are playing or lack of technical skill. Either way saying it doesn't matter on a thread or section designed to get input from the community to implement what they are asking or recommending defeats the purpose. Frontier can then look at that one sole comment out of 50 and say "Well looks like we don't have to put this in" In spite of the fact every other comment on the thread didn't. That puts the request that so many people have been asking almost begging for in jeopardy. Me personally, if you wanna mod have at it. Mods help the longevity of a game and creates a community in and of itself.
But we have to be mindful of what we say on threads and how that can be misinterpreted. For all we know Bo, the devs, or who ever can see words and comments and deduce that they don't have to put it in. That is a possibility that can happen.
Again, I'm not trying to be your god, master, or try to rule you, but please be careful of the words and comments you say.

If it is that nonsensical then do go ahead and have this thread continue on with that mindset in a thread requesting them to put in multiple raptor skins. It is counter productive to have a thread asking that then have people go on that very thread and say "Well I'll do it myself". I can guarantee that Frontier will put it right back onto the community and show this as a point of reference as why they wont put it in.
Again I say be careful and mindful of what we say.

that's right, can you please consider Movie Skins (at least from the classic ones and JP3, if we have to) as a DLC for the future? at least it's just a texture pack.

I absolutely hate raptors because they are a pain in the to keep but these skins are so sexy that would instantly change things! I never realized how good looking Echo's skin was god damn. Does Evanus have rex skins posted too? Because these are gorgeous!

In the case of JP /// Velociraptors (both male & female), however, they would require a unique model and sound files to themselves. If they are ever officially brought into JWE someday, it would probably be a good idea if they were made a sub-category when you select 'Velociraptor' from the species list rather than giving them their own complete slot, since they are still Velociraptors after all, albeit with some different features and seemingly more advanced social traits.

I mean, I can understand why the orange male raptor skin isn't in the game as all the dinosaurs are female. But I really don't understand why the other female skins haven't been added to the game to begin with.

@mysterydiseased I agree with you. I've also stated before after thinking why the skins weren't included is that they'reconsidered different models.(the skulls of the raptors differ a little from film to film)
@LordTrilobite Yes, Frontier has said all the dinosaurs in the game are female and the tiger raptors and quill raptors are male. I'm pretty sure people give their dinosaurs in their game male names. So thats really a none issue. I understand what your saying but it would add so much variety to them. We are inches away from a true Site B!!!!(tiger raptors, quill raptors, and leopard raptors)

Yes. Their is a thread on here dedicated to T-Rex skins created by Evanuss. He does AMAZING work with the movie skins!!!
This is true, but I think the part of the community that wants the franchise skins are getting a bit antsy. Two patchs(maybe three) and a dlc and no franchise skins yet for dinos(raptor,t-rex, and others). I'm starting to feel the pain.
