TM T.Flight Hotas One + T.Flight Rudder Pedals

07 Commanders!

Want to ask about pedals. As i see on official website, those pedals are 100% compatible with T.flight HOTAS on PC, PS4 and XBox one, but do they really supported in Elite? I've checked one thread here, was two months ago and someone said that they're not supported right now and discussion ended. Has something changed today?

I am having complete blast with HOTAS, fun is far beyond i expected [up]. And i really want to buy pedals. And too bad that i cant use VR on xbox right now, otherwise i'd buy goggles too [yesnod]

brain to the feet is like 10000 ms lol!

I have a set of Thrustmaster pedals. Once you configure them to the relevant axis Elite: Dangerous is perfectly happy to use them. I have them set for the back and forth movement for the yaw, but I have yet to work out what to use the pedal rocking for.

I saw on another thread, someone set the toe brakes for forward and back thrusters

To me...IMO....seems unnecessary and more cumbersome.

Again IMO but as others have said, yes it works
The trouble is (for me) that I have too many axis on one hand.
It's strange but currently on the stick I have pitch, roll and yaw with no problems but on the throttle I've got forward and reverse throttle, vertical thrust and lateral thrust which gets me confused so I end up going full bore, vertically because I'm concentrating on my lateral thrust and forgotten I've got my finger on the vertical button.
Whereas the pedals would probably work for me as I'm used to using my feet for some control when driving.
I'm seriously considering getting some myself op

Additional content:
There was a 20% discount on Thrustmaster website last week, not sure how long it was to last, code was Thrustmaster 20

Go to default settings. Play that way, it’s all programmed in the default hotas
the only thing you need to change is Button 5

other than that, it’s all preference but if you want to buy it go ahead just realize you will be forced to change the controls further to use it. Maybe pretend on a ball first to see

Default settings still have 3 axis on the throttle

Just giving my opinion
My thoughts are if the different axis are throwing you off now, adding foot pedals would/could be more complex.

Thats is the only reason I suggested default settings.
I mean you could just go into settings and remove the twist entirely and instead enable roll to yaw on the minor turn

that’s how I play with a gamepad and it means minor turn with sensitivity far right (gives yaw only on slight turns) and full turns it rolls and turns

TO ME, I’m not reading that you need to add more controls, I’m reading you need to lessen or simplify. That or just suck it up and play more u til it’s muscle memory

either way here are other reviews.

Using thrustmaster pedals

Hi,
I've recently bought the pedals to go along with the HOTAS. I've emailed Thrustmaster regarding mapping the "toe brakes" on the pedals and this was the response :-

"The option to map (from our side) is only available on PC with the help of TARGET. On any other platform, this will be possible only if the game has inside mapping system."

Not really helpful. I've been on to the options menu on elite dangerous but assigning the buttons doesn't seem to work.

Am I doing something wrong. As someone as said previously I would like to map the toe brakes for thrust. As anyone done this successfully.

Thanks.
