I have this habit. I don't think it's a good or bad habit, it's just something I tend to do with most new games I play, which is using my first character to test the waters, see what I can do, and then deleting that character to start again. Usually, I try not to get too far ahead, making the decision to reroll less appealing... but considering all I've accomplished in just 3 weeks (fully kitted out Viper, half-decent Asp that can trade, hunt and explore all at once, 10mil in savings, Allied and an Earl in the Empire, Allied with the Federation (by accident)), it probably wouldn't be that hard for me to do it again.
My only question is... is there a way to pick which faction's space you start in or do you always start in Federation space? It was kind of annoying finding my way to Empire space the first time. In an Eagle. With a crappy FSD and no fuel scoop.
I lied. Another question. Should I reroll or just wait to see if FD puts out some character rename feature in the inevitable future?
